The IFC Center is “thrilled to welcome acclaimed Japanese artist Takashi Murakami in person this month for two nights in a row, presenting a personal favorite — Michael Mann’s THIEF — and his own directorial debut JELLYFISH EYES.”

JELLYFISH EYES

Yasujiro Ozu

Catch the classic films of legendary director Yasujiro Ozu at the IFC Center. The series ends September 27th.

Today, he is considered one of the greatest directors in the history of cinema, with such major filmmakers as Jim Jarmusch, Wim Wenders, Abbas Kiarostami, Mike Leigh, Aki Kaurismaki, Hou Hsiao-hsien, Pedro Costa and Claire Denis citing him as a profound influence upon their work.”
