International Trivia and Dumpling Day (Now Free!)
Conversation Partners Program (CPP) is hosting a campus-wide event in collaboration with the International Student Service Center. International Trivia and Dumpling Day will be held on Tuesday, November 19 in NVC 14-220 from 12:45 pm to 2:00 pm. This is a trivia-style competition featuring culturally themed questions. The team that answers the most questions correctly wins a cash prize. Delicious dumpling-style foods from different cultures will be provided for everyone. All Baruch students, faculty, and staff are welcome to participate.
Participation Details:
-Last day to sign-up is November 14. Only cash will be accepted.

–FREE for students; $4 for staff, $5 for faculty

–Faculty and staff only: you can deliver the payment in an envelope with your name and team name (you may combine your teammates’ payments in one envelope if you’d like) to Michael Rollins in the Department of Communication Studies, room NVC 8-240. NVC 8-240 is open from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
-After receipt of your payment, a confirmation email will be sent to you.
-Use of technology during the competition will not be allowed.

Calligraphy Day
Hello everyone,
For this week, Japan Club and the GRID will be co-hosting our second Calligraphy Workshop on Thursday, November 7th in NVC 11-160 during club hours (12:40 pm – 2:20 pm). Please see the flyer below for more details.
Also, we are happy to announce that we will be hosting our biggest event of the semester, Maid Cafe, on Thursday, November 14th in the Multipurpose room (NVC 1-107), during the club hours.
