Part-time English Teachers
The successful applicants will teach English to Japanese students. Must be a native English speaker with a B.A. degree. Applicants with TESOL or K-12 certificates and teaching experience are highly preferred.
We offer multiple positions at different locations. If you are interested in teaching at one of these locations below, please send your resume including your information about your preferred locations and available days and time.
Locations:
- Japanese Children’s Society, Englewood Cliffs, NJ
- Elementary School English Teachers : Mon-Thu 9:30a.m.-1:00p.m.
- Elementary SchoolFriday English Program Teachers : Friday 8:30a.m.-3:00p.m. – 1 post available
- Preschool English Teachers : Mon-Thu 9:00 a.m.-12:30
- PreschoolFriday Bilingual Program : bilingual teacher : Friday 9:00 a.m.-1:00p.m.
- R/Lingo Learning Center, Fort Lee, NJ
English Teachers (K-12 & adult)
- After School English class (70, 90min classes) : any time slot between 3:30p.m.-8:00p.m(Mon-Fri)
–hiring year-round - Morning English classes for adults(60,80min classes): any time slot between 9:00a.m.-12:00p.m.(Mon-Fri)
- SaturdayEnglish class (70min classes)9:00-5:00

Japanese Conversation Class (*ANIME EDITION*)
Konnichiwa Minna-san!
Japan Club and Japanese Anime Asylum is teaming up to have an anime related Japanese Conversation Class!
This means that we’re going to teach some phrases that are commonly used in Japanese Anime (mainly from the two main genres: shoujo and shounen!)
Come join us on Thursday, March 22nd, room VC 4-175 from 12:50 – 2:20.

Japan Club’s Co-sponsorship Events!

We do not have a meeting this week for Japan Club, but we do have a lot of cosponsorships! Please check them out!
The following are Japan Club’s upcoming cosponsorships and events this week:
1) UCLA’s Lunar New Year Festival: Japan Club will be cosponsorsing this event on Tuesday, March 6th from 6-9 pm in the Multipurpose Room.
2) ISO’s World Cuisine Festival: We will also be participating in this event serving Japanese food on Thursday, March 8th during club hours in the Multipurpose Room.
3) Lastly, we will be hosting a Japan Career Fair (sponsored by the New York Career Academy) to introduce working opportunities to English/Japanese bilinguals as well as those who are interested in working in Japan or a Japanese company. This is taking place Friday, March 9th.
