To celebrate the passing of midterms, come join Baruch Japan Club at its third social/lunch event! This time the event will be held on Thursdaythe 10th during club hours (12:45PM to 2:05PM) at the restaurant called “East” located on Third Avenue between 26th and 27th Street. Anyone who is interested is welcome to join us! If you are coming, please let us know by clicking join on our Facebook event and RSVP here to give us an estimate of how many will be attending.
We will also be co-sponsoring two events! First is the Taiwanese Night Market on Tuesday, April 8th, from 6PM to 8PM held in the multipurpose room (VC 1-107). This event will hold many games to simulate a Taiwanese Night Market. Play games to earn tickets to cash in for food! Japan Club will have its own game table too! If you have time, please stop by and support the Taiwanese Student Association for a night of fun and food! This event has free admission and refreshments will be served.
The second event we are cosponsoring is Ascend’s Taiko Drumming show under the direction of Grammy-Award winner, Koji Nakamura! This event will take place on Saturday, April 19th from 6PM to 7:30PM in the Mason Hall Auditorium found in the 23rd Street Building. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at Baruch’s box office or online at http://web.ovationtix.com/trs/pr/932842. Be sure to get there early for the seating is first come first serve!
Finally, we would like to encourage anyone who has time to go vote NextGen Baruch to support our president, Ana Belen Gomez Flor! Voting starts Tuesday and ends Thursday and can be done any time between 12PM and 9PM. It takes less than five minutes so bring a friend and cast a vote!
