Volunteers Needed at PS 147

The PS 147 in Brooklyn is introducing the first public Japanese Dual Language Program and is looking for student or professional Japanese speaking volunteers. Its pilot has Pre-K and Kindergarten students who will study Japanese language and culture for half the school day, and a traditional English program for the other half. The program (which is still in its infancy) seeks those who love to work with children, are looking to  working in the education field, and wish to gain school credit or volunteer experience.
