11 Dead, A million evacuated and millions lost in Chilean earthquake

(EFE.14ymedio)-The number of deaths occurred by the earthquake Wednesday night in northern Chile has climbed to 11 people, according to the report of the director of the office of National Emergencies (Onemi), Ricardo Toro. The sum now totals nine injured, 1 disappeared, millions evacuated and millions lost in materials.

The movement of the quake- is the third largest in the history of the shattered nation, back in 1960 the largest earthquake in history was recorded- it happened around 19:54 local time and its epicenter was located 46 kilometers west of the western location Canela and 15.7 kilometers deep.

The force of the quake determined that Hydrographic and Oceanographic services of the Navy warned the tsunami warning to the entire Chilean coastline, more then 4000 kilometers in length, authorities ordered immediate evacuation.
