J-E translator Claire Tanaka will be giving a talk called “I’ve got Rhythm – Translating and Interpreting for Japanese Musical Theatre” on 2/29 (Saturday), from 1-3 pm!

I hope this email finds you well! My name is Lucy March and I am the Student Affairs Officer for the Weatherhead East Asian Institute at Columbia University. I coordinate our Institute’s fellowships program under the guidance of our Fellowships Director, Professor Madeleine Zelin.
I write to you today because the Columbia University East Asia National Resource Center is making a number of Foreign Language and Area Studies Fellowship (FLAS) summer grants for the study of East Asian languages available to eligible CUNY students for the Summer 2020 period.
