Japan Society Film is very excited to announce our upcoming New York premiere screening ofNUCLEAR NATION II in commemoration of the 5th anniversary of 3/11.
This follow-up to director Atsushi Funahashi’s critically-acclaimed 2012 documentary continues his investigation into the aftermath of the 3/11 Fukushima nuclear plant meltdown by following a community of displaced people from Futaba who continue to live in temporary housing.
We are inviting director Funahashi to present his powerful documentary and discuss the ongoing recovery situation through a post-screening Q&A.
