The Collins Spanish Dictionary is a very close to perfect dictionary when translating from English to Spanish as well as vice versa. The Collins Dictionary is published by HarperCollins Publishers who are located in New York City on the lower west side of the downtown Manhattan. HarperCollins Publishers is one of the world’s largest publishing companies and is part of the “Big Five” English language publishing companies, along with Hachette, Holtzbrinck and Macmillan, Penguin Random House, and Simon and Schuster. HarperCollins is a worldwide publishing group with establishments in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, and India since 1989.
Furthermore, Collins is one of Europe’s leading bilingual dictionaries used by almost everyone in the world. Relatively in Spain, Collins is used by translators as well as interpreters of beginner’s level when working in the United Nations, as well as translators working for companies where they require Spanish translators such as Nike, Adidas, Puma, Macron, Mitre, and many more.
The Collins dictionary is an almost perfect dictionary when translating words from Spanish to English and vice versa. When in search for words in the dictionary it is relatively easy because not only flipping thru pages is easy but words are easily spotted in the context, and you don’t have to use the threshold of your eyesight to find words such as other dictionary like Webster’s or similar dictionaries of that kind. Its content is straight forward words are clearly read as well as word usage to define a word.
Although the Collins dictionary provides the definition of the word, it also provides the translation of the word and many ways one can use the word in a sentence. The idioms are also provided, but one thing I was impressed with was for example the word “Trabajar”. It provided intransitive verb usage on the word as well as transitive verb usage. It gives many examples of a word in a sentence and provides change in word definition using sentences to clarify the different meanings of the word when used in a phrase.
The Verb table was also very impressive because it showed me how to use the words indicative, gerund, past principle, future, imperfect, preterit, conditional, subjective, etc. This helps me use the word to its full potential and strays me away from using the word incorrectly, which is something most dictionaries don’t do at all. Let alone the Collins dictionary also provided related terms, as well as latest word submissions. This helps the reader further understand words or provide other ways of saying the same word but differently somewhat like a thesaurus.

Telluric movement- the third strongest earthquake in the history of this troubled nation, where the largest earthquake was recorded in 1960. The earthquake occurred at 19:54 local time where its epicenter was located 46 kilometers west of Norteña de Canela and 15.7 kilometers deep.

tRADUCION aUTOMATICA
