The President of Univision, Randy Falco, affirmed today that the contender of the Republican nomination to the White House for 2016, Donald Trump, was disrespectful to the journalist Jorge Ramos and the Hispanic community.
In a press release, Falco referred in this way to the tense episode that occurred yesterday in the press conference of the candidate in Iowa, in which Ramos and Trump engaged in a dialect battle and the journalist was momentarily removed from the conference room, even though he was later allowed to return.
“The recent treatment that Jorge Ramos received in Mr. Trump’s press conference in Iowa is despicable. As a presidential candidate, Trump will receive uncomfortable questions from the press which he must answer,” indicated the president of the channel.
