The president of Univision, Randy Falco, stated today that the contender for the 2016 republican White House nomination, Donald Trump disrespected journalist, Jorge Ramos and the Hispanic community.

In the statement, Falco referred to yesterday’s tense episode at the candidate’s news conference in Iowa, in which Ramos and Trump engaged in a battled of words and the journalist was briefly removed from the auditorium, despite being allowed back in afterword.

“The recent treatment that Jorge Ramos received at Trump’s press conference in Iowa is despicable. As a presidential candidate, Trump is going to receive uncomfortable questions from the press and should respond to them,” indicated the channel’s president.
